TCA 30% Chemical Peel
Consultation required prior to receiving treatment.
Trichloracetic Acid is a self-neutralizing acid that denatures and dissolves epidermal proteins, leading to exfoliation of dead epidermal cells. At 30%, TCA can penetrate the dermis. While this leads to more peeling and discomfort, it improves the cosmetically desirable effects of a more even and smoother skin tone, and can treat actinic keratoses (pre-cancerous lesions that can develop into squamous cell carcinoma).
